Campeche beach in Santa Caterina is a fairly exposed beach break that has pretty consistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the northwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south. The beach breaks most famous wave is rights but also there is some fun lefts breaking throughout the year. When the surf is up the break offers international quality, it can get quite busy in the water with many WSL top seeds ripping, the wave can be compared with J’Bay when it’s classic conditions.
