Pavones isn’t just another Costa Rica surfer town – this region is home to one of the best and longest waves in the world. When a south-southwest swell comes in, the surf here is fast, intense and the ride can last up to 2 minutes. No joke, Red Bull filmed Robby Naish surfing a wave for 2 minutes 15 seconds and going over 1 km!
