Pavones Retreat Center is a special place! It was built as a tranquil yoga retreat and is set above the little town of Pavones. You are just a short walk down the hill to the beach, restaurants, and local supermarkets. Maintain privacy while access to convenience is at your fingertips.
Designed to host 20 people comfortably, there are two main villa buildings. One villa has two separate living quarters. One unit has two bedrooms and a kitchen while the other has one bedroom. The second, larger villa has 5 bedrooms with a larger kitchen and combined eating area.
The ground level of this stunning property features an infinity pool with color-changing lights that offer breathtaking views of Pavones and the Osa Peninsula, perfect for evening ambiance. The expansive deck, spanning approximately 2,400 square feet, is made from custom Italian anti-slip tile and enhanced by custom up-lighting. This expansive 7,000-square-foot, two-story main structure offers some of the best ocean views in the Osa Peninsula. 3 Water The outdoor second-story dining area, complete with polished floors, provides incredible views of the Osa. A unique full bathroom, featuring a jungle rock theme and a boulder sink, is nearing completion. The space is enhanced by bamboo ceiling accent lighting, ample fans for ventilation, and pebble tech-covered walkways, adding to the luxurious ambiance.
The Pavones Yoga Center has a working relationship with local farmers that supply fresh, organic produce. There is an onsite chef that can be hired by the new owners to cook for their guests.
Currently, there are three large water tanks for the facility that are supplied by city water. There is also a natural stream that has fresh drinking water that guests enjoy visiting.
Although the Pavones Yoga Center is an established yoga teacher training center, don’t let that limit your vision for the space. The center can easily double as a surf/yoga retreat destination and event center. Pavones is known for its World-Class surf being home to the second-longest left in the world.

Pavones isn’t just another Costa Rica surfer town – this region is home to some of the best, longest waves in the world. This remote village can be a challenge to get to, but as the second-longest left behind Chicama, Peru, the travel is well worth it. When a south-southwest swell comes in, the surf here is fast, intense and the rides can last up to 2 minutes.
