The wildlife is also abundant and you will get to see exotic creatures like Scarlett Macaws, Toucans, Aracaris, Sloths, Jaguarundis, Coatis and much more. The property has a walking trail that reaches the Rio Claro River where you can enjoy the cool waters of this magnificent river, usually all to yourself.

Pavones isn’t just another Costa Rica surfer town – this region is home to some of the best, longest wave in the world. This remote village can be a challenge to get to, but as the second longest left behind Chicama, Peru, the travels may be worth it. When a south southwest swell comes in, the surf here is fast, intense and the ride can last up to 2 minutes.
