Casa La Virgen sits in the quaint town of La Virgen, Costa Rica; a rural neighborhood community surrounded by farms and ranchland. Located 2.7 kilometers / 1.7 miles from the wide open beaches of Playa Zancudo and Playa Langostino.

The two-story four bedroom / three bathroom home has been completely remodeled yet leaves plenty of room for the new owners to personalize the home. Casa La Virgen is located on a paved street and tucked off the main road. There are fruit trees on the property and room for additional fruits, vegetables and a cabiña or two.

House has public water and a well on the property. The property features fiber optic internet for extremely fast internet surfing.

About the Area

The sandy beach of Playa Zancudo calls your name. It is lined by coconut palms and almond trees forming the idyllic setting for this special place. Located along the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the Golfo Dulce, Playa Zancudo is a beautiful and untouched area that sees significantly fewer tourists than other parts of the country. The atmosphere here is laid-back, and a variety of activities ensures that visitors will be occupied as much (or as little) as they’d like to be.

Playa Zancudo is also surrounded by diverse wildlife with the lush rainforest nearby. Wildlife is rich, abundant and diverse. The deep jungle meets the coast with an incredible lush tropical landscape. Wildlife abounds with a variety of monkeys including howlers and white-faced, toucans, macaws, sloths and so much more. World Class Sportfishing

There is also fantastic big game sport fishing here where tourist and locals do battle against all kids of fish including giant Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Marlin, Grouper, Pargo and more.

World Class Surfing

This area is known to have one of the longest lefthand point breaks in the world; Pavones! What many people don’t know is there a second world class lefthand point break even closer to the property along with Playa Zancudo’s very own, super fun beach break. This beach break can be quite good when the points are not breaking.
