Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Checkout happens on Stripe’s hosted pages, and this site never stores your card numbers

International Surf Properties may process your Personal Data because:

We need to perform a contract with you — operating your account, publishing your listings, and providing the subscription plan you purchased
You have given us your consent — for the newsletter and buyer emails (which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email) and for non-essential cookies such as translation
The processing is in our legitimate interests and is not overridden by your rights — keeping the site secure and preventing fraud and abuse
To comply with the law — for example, keeping billing records for tax purposes

Retention of Data

International Surf Properties will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

In practice: your account data, listings, and messages are kept for as long as your account exists and are removed when you delete your account. Billing and transaction records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after account deletion. Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

International Surf Properties will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Google Translate (on request): If you choose a language from the site translation menu, or accept all cookies in our consent banner, the Google Translate service is loaded to translate pages, and Google may process the content of the pages you view. Email delivery: We use an email delivery provider to send transactional emails, the newsletter, and buyer emails on our behalf.
Hosting: Our hosting provider stores the site’s database and uploaded files (such as listing photos) on our behalf.

Analytics

We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising services, and no analytics or advertising cookies are set on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy and ask for your consent where required.

Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Our Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 16 (“Children”), and creating an account requires you to be at least 18 years old.
