Co-founders Jim Habig and Hall of Fame surfer Henry Ford have spent decades chasing waves across Tahiti, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama and Indonesia. Along the way they built a trusted international network of local agents, builders and resort operators — the foundation of the ISP surf real estate brokerage today.

FOUNDER / CEO

Jim was born and raised in San Clemente, California — the ultimate surf town and the heart of the U.S. surf industry. He grew up walking the trail at Trestles, paddling the Pier, and learning every reef and beach break between Salt Creek and San Onofre. From there he has travelled the world surfing, diving and fishing — chasing waves through Costa Rica, Mexico, Indonesia, the South Pacific and beyond, always with a visionary eye for the coastlines he passed through.

Being a lifelong waterman, Jim always wanted one place where surfers, investors and dreamers could see the best surf properties in the world side by side — break by break, country by country — a single, trusted home to dream, plan and finally pull the trigger on living the dream.

FOUNDER / DIRECTOR

Henry is a legendary California surfer and a true mainstay of modern surf culture. He started riding waves along the sand bars of the South Bay — Hermosa, Redondo, Manhattan and Torrance beaches — way back in the early 1950s, when boards were still balsa and the lineups were nearly empty. He went on to star in many of Bruce Brown’s early surf films, including "Slippery When Wet," "Surfing Hollow Days" and "Barefoot Adventure," helping shape how the world saw California surf life.

Decades later, Henry brings that same depth of experience, global network and feel for surf-coast real estate to every ISP client — a Hall of Fame waterman opening doors most agents will never touch.

Elizabeth Roberts

MARKETING DIRECTOR / FOUNDER

Liz brings deep marketing and real estate sales expertise to the ISP team, with a career spanning resort marketing for Big Bear Mountain Resorts and high-end residential sales across San Clemente, California. She has worked directly with surf-community clients like Marty Hoffman and Matt Archbold, and now drives ISP’s global outreach — finding more qualified surf buyers, polishing every listing, and making sure each property reaches the right audience worldwide, from Costa Rica beachfronts to Indonesian point breaks.

Elizabeth "Liz" Habig honed her sales and marketing career in Big Bear, California, where she worked as a marketing and communications specialist for Big Bear Mountain Resorts. There she focused on depicting the amazing experiences guests had on the mountain — building campaigns, capturing storylines, and turning seasonal visitors into return-trip regulars. That mountain-resort lens still shapes how she markets every surf-coast listing at ISP today.

Felipe Pomar

Felipe is a big-wave surfing legend and international real estate veteran. He has held a Hawaii broker’s license since 1972 and has personally bought and sold properties across Australia, Hawaii, Peru, Costa Rica, Panama, Mexico and Indonesia. He created and runs the Malole Surf House on Rote Island, and brings unmatched on-the-ground knowledge of Central America and Indonesia to every ISP client. Few people in the world are more qualified to guide your international surf real estate journey — and his motto, "Surf Until You’re 100," tells you everything you need to know.

Felipe is a Big Wave Surf Legend and international real estate expert that has joined ISP to bring his knowledge of the real estate markets and offerings in Central America and Indonesia — to name a few. He has successfully created and run the Malole Surf House on Rote Island for many years and invites you to come along on his journey to "Surf Until You’re 100!"

Thibaud Dosiere

Thibaud spent every summer of his childhood on the beaches of the French Basque Coast, where his grandparents lived just a short walk from the waves. When he was seven, his mother moved there, and has never left the ocean since. That was the beginning of Thibaud’s lifelong journey in surfing. For more than 45 years, he has chased waves across Spain, Portugal, the Canary Islands, Madeira, Réunion Island, California, Tahiti, and Hawaii.
