What You're Buying
International Surf Properties sells listing subscription plans that allow property sellers to publish For Sale and Vacation Rental listings on the site. Plans are billed either monthly or yearly, and payments are processed securely by Stripe. The current price of each plan is shown on our pricing page and again at checkout before you pay.
Automatic Renewal
All subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel. The renewal charge is taken using the payment method you provided at checkout, at the price in effect for your plan at the time of renewal.
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard, or by contacting support through our contact page. Cancelling stops all future renewal charges. Your subscription — and any listings published under it — remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; after that it simply does not renew.
When You Can Get a Refund
Whether a charge can be refunded depends on one thing above all: whether you currently have listings published on the site under that charge.
If you have no live listings, you can ask for a refund of a paid charge at any time and we will refund it in full. Nothing was being published on our side, so there is nothing for us to charge you for.
If you do have live listings, you can still get a full refund by asking within 14 days of the charge — whether that is your first payment or a renewal.
After those 14 days, with listings still live, a monthly plan is not refundable: it has been delivering the service you paid for, and the next renewal is only a month away, which you can stop by cancelling.
A yearly plan in that situation is refunded in part. We charge for the months you have already had at the plan’s standard monthly rate — counting any started month as a whole month — and refund the rest. For example, on a $490 yearly plan whose monthly rate is $49, a refund requested three and a half months in charges four months ($196) and refunds the remaining $294. Because yearly plans are priced below twelve months at the monthly rate, unwinding one means giving up that discount for the months already used.
If a plan has run for its full term there is nothing left to refund.
Statutory Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your first purchase of a subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Note that if you ask us to start providing the service immediately — for example, by publishing your listings — and the service has been fully performed within that period, the withdrawal right lapses once the service is fully used with your consent; if you withdraw after the service has started but before it is fully performed, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the period already provided. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
How to Ask
Within 14 days of a charge, you can raise a refund request yourself from that invoice in your dashboard, under Billing → Invoices.
After 14 days, the request button is no longer shown, because whether a refund is due depends on your situation rather than on a date alone. Contact us through our contact page and we will check whether your charge qualifies under the rules above — for example, an account with nothing published, or a yearly plan with months still to run.
Either way, raising a request does not move any money. Every refund is reviewed and processed by our team, and we will reply by email — usually within two business days. Refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method; your bank or card issuer may take a few business days to make the funds available.
What a Refund Does to Your Plan
A refund returns the payment for a period of service, so that period of service ends with it. When we grant a refund — in full or in part — the subscription that payment covered is cancelled immediately rather than at the end of the billing period, it will not be billed again, and the listings published under it are removed from public view at the same time.
Nothing is deleted. Your listings, photographs, drafts and account data are retained, and your listings can be published again whenever you start a new plan with available listing credits. Links to a listing that is no longer published direct visitors to our listings search rather than to an error page.
If you would rather keep your listings live until the end of the period you have paid for, cancel your plan instead of requesting a refund. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves everything published until that date.
What Happens When a Subscription Lapses
If your subscription ends — because you cancelled, or because a renewal payment failed and was not resolved — the listings published under that plan are automatically taken offline. Nothing is deleted: your drafts, listing content, photos, and account data are kept, and your listings are restored when payment resumes on an active plan.
