Wave Quality

The Surfland Brasil wave pool will produce left and right-hand waves up to 6 feet (1.9m) high on the face of the wave on the primary wave, the “Reef”. Thanks to the flexibility of Wavegarden Cove, Surfland Brasil will have 9 different types of waves pre-programmed into the pool’s control system that vary in shape and size. Advanced and intermediate surfers can expect barrel, turn and air sections on the Reef. The length of ride along the 150m Reef wave will be 16 seconds.

After passing the primary reef, the wave will reform to smaller waves in the “Bay” that are ideal for beginners. The waves are going to be similar to waves at the Wavegarden R&D center in Spain (shown below), except longer and more numerous.
