San Clemente Pier

San Clemente Pier in Orange County, California is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf. Summer offers the favoured conditions for surfing. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It’s often crowded here. Watch out for rips and locals.
