About the House

The Heavenly House offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 1100 sq. ft. (110 m2). This comes fully furnished with all of the comforts of modern living; a large side-by-side refrigerator with a huge bottom freezer drawer and icemaker, six-burner stainless stovetop and oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker and all the accessories. Large windows give way to the panoramic views, sliding glass doors open to the covered veranda great in all weather for moments of reflection, family gatherings. The covered veranda is approximately 500 sq ft under roof; so a great area for friends and family in all weather conditions.

Construction is concrete block and metal purling with zinc roof, tiled floor throughout. Metal gutters, sliding doors on 3 sides, main wooden door entry. Everything was built to American standards.

The water source is directly from a mountain spring. This is sweet water with all of the minerals and ionization still intact. It tastes so good! All water pipes have been recently upgraded for greater water flow.

The Heavenly House – La Casa Celestial has Free WIFI for life! That’s right, when the telecommunications company was first putting in the towers for Costa Rica southern zone, they used the Heavenly House as the test location. In exchange, they gave the property free hi-speed wifi for life! Put a value on that!

About the Area

This property brings out an inner peace not easily found in today’s hectic world! You immediately feel you are above the worries of the world as you gaze out at the ocean and mountains from La Casa Celestial – The Heavenly House. Sitting on the top of the mountain gives a deep sense of peace and something you would expect from a Tibetian Monastery. Some say it is a spiritual experience standing on the mountain gazing out on God’s creation!

Located in the highlands, Agua Buena of San Vito is 200 miles south of San Jose (5 hrs by car) and only 1.5 hrs to the beach on the Pacific coast. Agua Buena was once one of the many popular Coffee Growing regions in Costa Rica. Coffee still grows here but farmers have reverted to cattle farms, tomatoes, green peppers, cilantro and other small sustainable crops.

Close to La Amistad International Park The largest terrestrial Protected Area in Central America. It is bi-national as is located in Costa Rica and Panama.
