Surrounded by the lush rainforests of Waidroka Bay, come and escape to my very private 2 acre parcel of land. Relax with your family and friends in a 1000 square foot ocean view bure (cottage). From the spacious deck you can watch waves wrap around one of the 5 outer reef surf breaks. This one bedroom cottage can sleep four comfortably with one King bed, and 2 singles. The house is powered by solar energy, with an attached tiled bath, shower and kitchen area. Here you can drink and enjoy a large supply of Fijian rain water.
It’s a 10 minute walk downhill from the property to the “Waidroka Bay Resort”. Take advantage of there many vacation activities, from surfing world class waves, such as Frigate’s passage, to scuba diving or snorkeling the clear warm waters of Bega lagoon. Game fishing and sport fishing are also available, along with kayaking. The Resort has a friendly kitchen staff, where you can order off the menu while you sit back and relax with a cold Fiji Bitter Beer. Check out there web site at www.waidroka.com
Waidroka Bay is centrally located on the southern Coral Coast of Veti Levu (main island of Fiji), and is any water enthusiast paradise. The Bay is approximately two hours SE of Nadi International Airport and about 1 ½ hours south west of the capitol, Suva.
About a 20 minute drive up the coast towards Suva, you can find everything you need in Pacific Harbor, including gift shops, restaurants, activity centers, a grocery store, gas station and the local post office.
Waidroka in Kadavu Passage is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds are from the north northeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the south. A left hand reef break. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up.
