Duranbah Beach—or D-Bah as virtually every Australian surfer calls it—is a compact but remarkably consistent stretch of sand at the mouth of the Tweed River.

The combination of the Tweed River breakwall, offshore sandbars and Duranbah's exposed easterly orientation focuses incoming swell into punchy A-frame peaks producing both lefts and rights.

When the Gold Coast points are struggling for size, there's a good chance D-Bah still has something to surf.
