Robertsport

Robertsport is one of West Africa's great emerging surf destinations—a tropical coastline of uncrowded left-hand point breaks, warm Atlantic water and jungle-covered headlands in Liberia's Grand Cape Mount County.

Long-period South Atlantic groundswell wraps around a succession of rocky points to produce long, peeling lefts, with legendary local breaks including Cotton Trees, Shipwreck, Fisherman's Point and Cassava. The primary swell season runs from roughly April through October, while favorable wind and weather windows can produce excellent surf outside those months as well.

Liberia's celebrated left points — long, empty, jungle-backed walls on Atlantic groundswells. Robertsport is an intermediate-level left-hand point break in Liberia, delivering high quality waves for improving surfers ready to progress. It is most consistent from April to September (winter swells). All tides; best on a pushing tide. Rocks and strong currents run around the point, so plan your entry and exit carefully.
