Located directly off Puerto Viejo, east and northeast Caribbean swell explodes across a shallow coral shelf to create thick, fast and intensely hollow right-hand barrels, with a shorter left occasionally opening from First Peak. When a proper swell arrives, Salsa Brava combines tropical water and exceptional barrel quality with the raw power of a serious reef break.
