Dimas Rivermouth
Dimas Rivermouth, Sinaloa, Mexico
About This Break
Dimas Rivermouth is an exposed beach and rivermouth break on the Sinaloa coast, south of Patoles. The break picks up plenty of Pacific swell and offers both left- and right-hand peaks, with southwest groundswells providing the best setup. Surf Forecast
Unlike the long point waves found elsewhere along this stretch of coast, Dimas is characterized by shifting beach-break peaks. Depending on the sandbars and rivermouth configuration, surfers can find A-frame peaks with workable shoulders in both directions. It is also notably uncrowded compared with many better-known mainland Mexico surf zones.
Dimas Rivermouth Surf Forecast
Dimas can work throughout the year, although summer has historically been identified as a particularly good period for clean, consistent surf. Long-period southwest swell combined with light east-northeast winds is the classic setup.
