About This Break
La Isla is one of the signature reefs of Punta Hermosa: a fast, hollow right peeling from the rocky island at the tip of town. This is a speedy, thin-lipped character and identifies it as one of the region's better waves. A weaker left can peel from the opposite side of the peak, but the right is unquestionably the defining wave.
