Pulpos

Pulpos is an exposed surf break on the southern Lima coastline, just north of the Punta Hermosa cluster. Unlike many of Punta Hermosa's reef and point setups, Surf-Forecast classifies Pulpos as an exposed beach break, producing both lefts and rights. Its open exposure gives it reasonably consistent access to distant Southern Hemisphere groundswell, with winter providing the most dependable surf.

Pulpos is generally less crowded than the marquee Punta Hermosa reefs, making it an interesting alternative when nearby breaks are packed.
