Señoritas
Punta Hermosa, Peru
About This Break
Señoritas is an exposed reef break at Punta Hermosa, one of the most surf-dense stretches of Peru's Lima coastline. Its defining wave is a powerful left-hand reef, although a secondary right also breaks from the reef. The wave responds particularly well to long-period Southern Hemisphere groundswell and becomes fast, powerful and performance-oriented when the swell has enough size.
Señoritas also has genuine competitive pedigree. The break has hosted high-level Peruvian contests and, in 2026, the Señoritas Open Pro was scheduled as a WSL QS 2000 event, reinforcing its reputation as a serious high-performance wave rather than simply another neighborhood reef.
