Backwash

Backwash is a right-hand reef break situated in the middle of the incredible beautiful Backwash BayBackwash is a right-hand reef break situated in the middle of the incredible beautiful Backwash Bay with a nice sandy beach..  It requires head high or bigger waves for it to really work is a large, slow break that is great for longboarding but due to the steep beach, waves will jack up to create steep sections. It is a less consistant break than Matapalo but every bit as good, or better when it’s working.
