The Telo Islands in Indonesia are known for their waves, which are considered user-friendly and range from rare beach break waves to massive waves. The surf season runs from May to October, with swells reaching up to 10 ft or more. The swell is most consistent during the peak season, but surfers can experience epic waves in the off-season with fewer crowds. The islands have protected channels and lagoons that make it easy to navigate between the 100 islands.
