Sipika Point
About This Break
Sipika Point is one of the standout right-hand waves of the northern Telo Islands. Located off Pulau Sipika, this long-walled reef/point-style wave needs a solid swell to truly come alive. When conditions align, Sipika delivers powerful open faces, long carving sections and impressive barrels.
Unlike many waves that begin to lose their shape as the swell increases, Sipika improves with size and can handle substantial Indian Ocean swell. On bigger days the wave becomes considerably more powerful, making it best suited to experienced intermediate and advanced surfers.
Set among the remote tropical islands, reefs and lagoons of the Telos, Sipika offers the kind of surfing experience Indonesia is famous for—warm water, beautiful surroundings, quality waves and relatively light crowds.
