Troncones Manzanillo Bay

Manzanillo Bay / Troncones Point is a long left-hand point break where Troncones Beach meets Manzanillo Bay on Guerrero's Costa Grande. The point sits at a bend in the coastline that exposes it to South Pacific swell; incoming S–SW groundswell wraps around the rocky/cobblestone shoreline and produces long, workable left walls. Surfline describes Troncones Point as one of Mexico's notable lefthand point breaks, with long, shouldery peelers particularly well suited to longboarding.

The wave is generally more forgiving than hollow. Smaller days can be mellow enough for longboards, mid-lengths and progressing surfers, while larger summer swell gives the outside takeoff considerably more power and speed. On a good swell, connected rides can run several hundred meters through Manzanillo Bay.
