About This Break
Kuta Beach is Bali’s most famous beginner-friendly surf destination and one of the island’s most consistent beach breaks. Its long stretch of sand produces numerous shifting peaks, offering forgiving whitewater for lessons and faster, more powerful waves for experienced surfers when the swell increases. Kuta has attracted surfers since the 1930s and remains an important center of Bali’s surf culture.
